As one of the Global Sustainable Development Goals, equitable quality education takes the centre stage in Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration. As such, we, the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, share in the duty to see that every child in Oyo State has access to quality basic education.
We seek to provide basic education — while leveraging technology — that meets global standards to children of school-going age in Oyo state irrespective of their economic or physical circumstance.
We believe that every child has the right to receive sound knowledge and learn the right skills that will enable him/her make wiser decisions and function well as a human, become more creative, inventive, and solution-oriented, and be a better citizen.
